Let’s make the most of our day and be organised by setting 5 goals to complete in a day! Sound good?
Ok, if you’re like me some of you may frequently experience those lazy days, duvet days, slob days, watching endless amounts of trash TV on ITVBe days. It is sometimes hard to break yourself out of those moods when you just want to forget about all those jobs and chores for a day. But oh how we forget the disgusting feeling of not getting out of our PJ’s all day and not completing any important jobs.
This post is as much for you as it is for me. Writing down that I can be a lazy slob sometimes and probably watch The Real Housewives too much does give me a kick up the butt to take my own advice. This advice is of course from my mother; a very wise woman who is always organised.
The Aim: To set 5 tasks to complete each day.
These tasks can be small, such as putting on a load of washing (fun I know) or a bit bigger, like actually moving your butt out of the house to go to the gym/food shopping, etc. Writing a list, or mentally writing a list in your mind will help you make the most of your day.
And why not add a good deed to your list? Help a friend out, open a door for someone, offer to carry someone’s bags for them. There’s no harm in adding a good deed to your list.
The best thing to do and a proven de-stressing activity before bed is to write down all the things you have achieved in that day (trust me, it does make you feel good). But if that is not your cup of tea, as you get into bed write down five things you wish to achieve the next day on a small notepad. This will make you feel prepared for the next day and help you remember what jobs you need to do in the morning.
You will wake up feeling organised and ready to start the day!
LET’S BE PRODUCTIVE!
