Spring has arrived, which means brighter warmer days! Make the most of bright mornings and treat yourself to breakfast in Bath. Whether you are visiting or live in Bath, there are some great places to enjoy a delicious breakfast.
Abbey Church House
A perfect location to enjoy a morning coffee, people watch and take in the iconic surroundings of Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths. The weekend breakfast menu offers you a selection of classic English breakfast dishes, and a simpler menu is available during the week. There is no better spot to enjoy breakfast than in front of some of Bath’s stunning landmarks.
Breakfast served: Mon to Fri 10am – 12pm, Sat & Sun 8.30am – 12pm
Lark Place (the corner of Park Lane)
A small local café that is very popular with locals and visitors of Royal Victoria Park. This café offers a selection classic English breakfasts, from a bacon butty to a full English. Although there is limited seating inside the café it is located next to the beautifully picturesque Royal Victoria Park. Why not pop by and pick up a takeaway breakfast and take a stroll through park. Picnic In The Park is just a short 10-minute walk from the city centre.

Dorchester Street (opposite Bath Spa Station)
For visitors arriving into Bath Spa Station this café is the perfect place to enjoy a hearty breakfast. A popular spot for commuters and visitors to Bath, this local café is situated opposite the station. They offer a delicious array of breakfasts from classic egg on toast to indulgent pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Café Au Lait also has another venue situated on Pulteney Bridge.

Bath is now home to two Boston Tea Party cafés, one situated on Kingsmead Square and the other on Alfred Street, opposite the Assembly Rooms. The café on Kingsmead Square has outdoor seating where you can enjoy the surrounding Georgian buildings and watch the world go by. Get there early as this café becomes very popular for breakfast. The menu at both venues offers you a selection of classic dishes as well as some lighter options.

Brunel Square (next to Bath Spa Station)
Next to Bath Spa Station is another great breakfast venue (weekends only). Treat yourself to a Full English breakfast or some American blueberry pancakes before you start your day. Enjoy your breakfast outside on one of the balconies, either overlooking the Southgate shopping area or watching the trains pass by.
